Mineral Water

Munger district has long been famous for its mineral waters and hot water springs, There is a belt of thermal springs along a Zone from the Kharagpur hills to the Rajgir hills of the Patna district. There are altogether seven groups of thermal springs in this district.

These are:-

1. Bharari (Chormara Group)

2. Bhimbandth Group

3. Hingania Group

4. Remeshwar-Lakshmishwar –Bhowrah Kunds groups.

5. Rishikund groups.

6. Sitakund – Phillips-kund group and

     7.     Sringirishi  group
